This gym has the largest selection of free weights and machines in town and
they're of good quality. The staff is knowledgeable. Empire has a large
selection of aerobic equipment such as treadmills, bikes, Stairmasters and both
rowing and elliptical machines, but does not offer classes. It gets fairly
crowded weekdays, but you can generally get on what you want within a few
minutes. Please contact the club for current pricing.
This gym has a huge roster of aerobic, dance and yoga classes held in two
different studios. Tropical Shade also has a decent amount of free weights and
machines. Both the men's and women's lockers have saunas. Half the members here
are women, a higher percentage than any other gym in town. I'm told it gets
crowded on weeknights. Free towels. Please contact HAC for current pricing.
Off-peak membership available at reduced rates.

aerobic workout. There is a decent selection of free weights and pretty much
all the exercise machines and equipment you're likely to want. My roommate was
a member here for a year and reports that it's never crowded to the point that
